　　Xiyingmen Traditional Handcraft Workshop was founded my grandfather. We custom-tailored the cloth shoes for the officials in our province. We used to make a pair of cloth shoes for the son of our neighbour Aunt Zhang. He walked hundreds miles wearing this shoes to attend the examination of state official selection in Qing Dynasty. And finally he won the first place in this examination and became an official. After that, he asked my grandfather to make several pairs of shoes every year and give them to his friends as special gifts.

　　My father inherited the workshop from my grandfather and continued working on the shoe making. But he was forced to leave home and worked for the government as a labor free of charge. The Xiyingmen Workshop came to its most difficult time. No one would hand the business. It was not until my father came back that the workshop was rebuilt and the trade name "Xiyingmen" was recovered. My father devoted the rest of his life on recovering and promoting the Xiyingmen shoes.

　　I was an ambitious young man who grew up in the People's Republic of China. When I was a child, I like drawing because of my father's influence. I had entered the Art School to learn the skills of drawing at the age of 16. I had inherited my family's workshop and promoted our shoes to the public. Now the brand Xiyingmen is at its best time. I am sure that I can make this brand Xiyingmen well-known all over the world to spread our Chinese traditional culture, even at the cost of the rest of my life.
